Though this was written from a female perspective (be it I’m a female) this song does not void males from having the same conflict. This song is about heartbreak — a common topic. This isn’t the typical heartbreak song though, it’s more a look at both sides when deciding wether or not to let someone go. One side is the side of those around you and the side of yourself telling you it’s time to move on, and the other side is your heart. It’s easier said than done when it comes to letting go of a toxic relationship, just know you’re not alone in the feeling and that letting go of someone isn’t weakness.
